The RIDGID K-45AF-5 Sink Machine is a drain cleaning machine with an AUTOFEED system that advances and retrieves the cable at the push of a lever. The K-45AF-5 drain cleaner machine is suitable for 3/4 in. to 2-1/2 in. drain lines. It has a large tough, corrosion-resistant cable drum that withstands harsh treatmentand will not dent or leak. The two-piece "twist-lock" canister with interchangeable inner drum makes cable change-out simple and easy to match the right cable for the job. Includes 25 ft. of 5/16 in. cable ideal for pipes measuring from 3/4 in. to 1-1/2 in. The variable speed power unit rotates cable 0 to 600 RPM. The Inner Core drain snake cable has a vinyl-wrapped inner core to prevent rust and enhance cable life. It is compression wound for strength and resists kinking to negotiate tough bends and traps. The cable provides good flexibility and cleaning power to the cable end where the bulb head tears into the clog. The design of this drain cleaning tool has a lightweight feel, which allows for easy transportation around worksite and loading into service trucks or vans. Excellent for small line cleaning. Opens clogged sink lines and tub or shower drains. Includes: 25 ft. of 5/16 in. of Inner core cable, 5-piece tool set (7/8 in. bulb auger, 1-3/8 in. "C" cutter, 1 in. spade cutter, 4 in. drop head augerand 5/8 in. coupling key), carrying case, RIDGID drain cleaning glovesand operator's manual.

Pros:Worked well!Feed control levers are easy to use compared to a smaller Ridge unit I have. Feeds fast.Power unit is heavy duty and should last a long time.Cons:A little heavy (I'm 73 years old)Changing drums is easy enough but it takes some force to get drum cover on.Summary: Pros far outweigh the Cons!

We run this tool at our facility every few weeks, it always gets the job done. love that the replaceable line since we can replace just line when they eventually get bound up and bent. our staff is extremely hard on our equipment and this tool can handle the borderline abuse we throw at it.
