Description:
This is a German Bavarian Officer sword.
Condition:
The sword is in good condition. Pommel, grip and guard are in good shape with no signs of dings. They are all tightly bound with no loose wiggling. Finish is good and no signs of rust. There is no leather finger hoop. It has a guard with Bavarian design. Ricasso has
markings. There is etching on the blade but not the spine. It has a double fuller.
The blade is in good shape with no pitting or rust. It is a straight blade. There are no dings or chips. Minor scratches can be seen along the entire length of the blade. Blade edge has a few small nicks.
Scabbard is in fair condition and shows signs of average use and wear. There is visible rust and some minor scratches. Everything is held together tightly. Rings are firmly attached. There are no markings that we can see.
As with all used items, a light cleaning may be necessary to meet your standards. Please see our photographs for a better understanding of the contents and its condition.
