Antique 19th C. British Saber English Diplomatic Court Sword Scabbard Knot

Description

A scarce British officer's Diplomatic or Court sword, complete in its correct black leather scabbard with brass mounts. Large shell guard. The hilt modelled in traditional court sword form with shell guard and brass pommel. The double edged blade approx 32.5 inches long and etched on both sides with the royal crest crown. Overall length in scabbard 38.5 inches. Complete with its correct gold wire sword knot. Excellent condition. This sword has seen hardly any use at all and would be perfect to wear for a serving officer attending official ceremonies.
