ANTIQUE FINE SOUTHEAST TIBET OR ASSAM OR BHUTAN SILVER MOUNTED BACKSWORD
Characteristic form and superior quality with heavy 17 1/2" slightly concave wedge section blade. Shaped dark wood hilt with silver base ferrule and grip wrapped in bands of silver wire. Wood opened face scabbard with silver mounts covered with fine silver wire work surrounding blue stones or cabechons. Uniformly excellent condition for the period. See
