Antique “Artlleria - Fabrica de Toledo” Sword and Scabbard, Exc. Condition.
Overall measurement of sword and scabbard of 40-inches
Blade length 31.5-inches, unsharpened and very nice condition and patina… no chips, cracks or breaks.
Serial number 313 39
There appears to be a word stamped into the scabbard … It’s hard to make out … but I think it says “Toledo” but I am unsure ( see photo)
I purchased the sword, along with several others, and an 1884 Trapdoor Springfield rifle in 45-70… I suspect the sword is from roughly the same period, but any info anyone could give me would be much appreciated.
Everything is solid on sword and scabbard … The previous owner obviously stored them well.
