    Description

    This is a custom made
    "TR-2W" (TRAIL - TRAINING Reins w Leather Water Loops n Snaps both ends) REIN, 11
    foot, round, double braided (braid over braid) Yacht rope loop rein, made of top quality 9/16" POLYESTER marine yachting rope, in attractive BLUE ...   At the ends of the reins are Weaver Leather Latigo Water Loops, and zinc die cast nickel heavy duty scissors snaps. Double braided polyester is abrasion resistant, strong, soft on your hands, and has that great lively feel desired by the top Natural Horsemanship trainers! The 11' length is great for Draft, Warmblood, and extra large horses and mules, too!~
    Great for trail... lead your horse from either side, encourage relaxed low head carriage on trail rides, long enough for your horse to take a drink or get a good look at obstacles. These reins are comfortable on your hands and still offer a nice grip.. appreciated after a few hours on the trail! Also works well for Natural Horsemanship training exercises, the one rein stop, round pen riding, nose giving and neck flexing. The heavier feel of the yacht rope helps your horse feel the instant release of pressure, and subsequent reward.
    Use with the snaps for easily changed bits or bridles, or tie the water loops directly onto your bit.  The water loops measure 7" (3 1/2" folded) by 3/4".  They are made from USA Burgundy Brown Latigo Veg Tanned Leather, and have slightly rounded edges. The sturdy laces are made from alum tanned or latigo leather and are spiral knotted.
