Early 20Th Century Mexican Eagle Head Saddle Sword Original Sheath. A fine Mexican short sword with it scarce original colored pita do- cactus fiber decorated Leather scabbard. The sword has a hand forged blade of leaf shape with cowhorn handle in the form of an eagle head, with unclear makers marks. The multi piece leather sheath displays are fine aged patina. This item is in original condition with a few lost stitches at the base of the sheath. 69 cm overall length in the sheath. See photos for greater details. Condition is “Used”.
