    Description

    From the estate of a Korean/ Viet Nam veteran US Navy pilot who collected many items of Militaria, here is an old French Briquet sword with scabbard!  The entire length of the sword is 29 1/2 inches while the blade is approximately 24 3/8 inches!  I did not observe any markings on the blade, on the handle, or on the scabbard and wonder if any markings could have been worn smooth or if some swords were unmarked.  The brass on the scabbard and handle have patina.  The sword is hefty.  If you recognize and can contribute additional information, please do so.  Shipping is .57!
