THIS MODEL IS BASED ON FAMOUS m1796 BRITISH LIGHT CAVALRY SABRE / m1811 "BLUCHER" SWORD.
BLADE IS MARKED UNDER LANGUET AT RICASSO WITH ALEX COPPEL, SOLINGEN MAKER'S MARK.
ALSO MARKED WITH MILITARY INSPECTORS MARKS AT THE SPINE OF BLADE.
(Inspectors / military acceptence marks on spine with number 13, indicates 1913 production year - right before WWI started).
ALSO MARKED ON SCABBARD AND HILT PARTS WITH MILITARY INSPECTOR'S MARKS.
ORIGINAL STEEL SCABBARD.
GRIP IS MADE OF SOME KIND OF MAN-MADE MATERIAL (bakelite? resin?)
