Up for sale is a very rare hand carved antique natural jade carving.
This magnificent piece features a very high quality jadeite jade with white & green color.
The surface of the buckle has old Chinese Kanji markings as well as what looks like some small animal depiction.
The jade has retained a fine luster and the piece is fairly solid & heavy.
This piece comes from a private jade collection and it is estimated to be well over 100 years old.
We can trace the collection to over 60 years back as the previous owner was adding antique pieces in his travels.
It measures 59mm by 52mm by 6mm and it weighs 44.7 grams total.
The pendant measures 22 x 17mm (0.86 x 0.66 inch).
