Description

Pair of German Sword Hilt Candlestick. Purchased by American couple stationed in Germany post WWII. Brass lion heads with red jewelled eyes, wrapped handle, chrome finish on attached candle parts. These were likely made from remainder hilts at the factory, and did not see battle. Possibly styled after officer's swords used to decorate an officer's desk. Some minor corrosion on the chrome, some wear on the brass. See pics for more info. 8.5" total height.
