HUGE 55 1/4" HEAVY BROADSWORD Medieval Knight Viking DOUBLE EDGE TWO HANDED

Description

Overall length: approximately 55 1/4". Blade length: 41 1/4". The heavy blade is double edged without a fuller. The blade has 2 triangular protrusions on each side 6 3/4" down from the brass crossguard. The crossguard has a four hole
quatrefoil
design on each end and measures 13 3/4" across. Brass ball type pommel. Wood grip. There are no maker marks on the sword. Weight is about 6.8 lbs. Sword shows light overall wear with occasional small spots of light oxidation on blade, light scuffs & scrapes. Brass guard & pommel have a nice mellow patina. Wooden handle shows only very light wear. This would be a fabulous
reenactor
sword or as a cool accessory at a Medieval Fair type event.
