    antique (k.g.e.) knights of the golden eagle fraternal sword in very good used condition as shown. the blade has an overall gray tone finish and is in great shape. the hilt is topped with a brass eagle and a scrolled cross guard with federal eagle too. the scabbard retains most of its chrome plated finish with a drag just like the one's on a civil war field and staff sword. the sword length is approx. 35 1/2 inches. the organization began in 1873 in baltimore, md., many civil war veterans were in the organization after the war.
