DOSE: Open capsule and introduce powder directly into tank. Use
1 capsule to each 10 NET gallons of aquarium water. Repeat treat-
ment in 3 to 5 days or if symptoms begin to reappear.  Only 3 com-
plete treatments are recommended.

GENERAL INSTRUCTION: This Treatment is an effective, colorless
aid
in aquariums for the treatment and prevention of * Ick * Itching
and Scratching * Cryptocaryon * White Spots  or Body Blotches *
Body Fungus * Parasitic Protozoans * Marine Ick * Oodinium.
This copper substitute and unlike copper, may be safely
overdosed in difficult cases. As a preventive, treat aquarium when
introducing new fish. Avoid use in the presence of invertebrates.
Do not use when copper is present in the aquarium water.
FOR BEST RESULTS: A partial water change using
SHIELDEX
as directed is recommended before and after treatment. Avoid
combining chemicals and treatments unless otherwise suggested
by manufacturer or dealer. If undesired chemical or antibiotic is
present in tank water, first filter with
CARBON-IT
for 3 to 4 hours
and then do a partial water change. Continue filtration but remove
carbon from filter during treatment, as well it is light sensitive,
reduce light during product use. To avoid stress due to oxygen
depletion during treatment use
INTENSIVE CARE
as directed
during the 1st and 3rd dose. Treatment in a quarantine tank is
suggested unless infection is shared by several fish,
and be
removed from aquarium water by adding carbon to the
filter.
