VINTAGE RARE NORIEGA SWORD MACHETE SCIMITAR..VG CONDITION. REAL hard to find LIMITED PRODUCTION in this good of condition.

**Its REAL STEEL. This is a REAL AUTHENIC useable sword. Not cheap toy like stuff that alot of people have hanging on there walls or other mass produced blades of its type that are being sold this day. THIS IS A TRUE COLLECTORS PIECE. A "MUST HAVE" FOR ANY SERIOUS COLLECTOR. Each sword is HANDMADE with the Maker's Mark stamped on edge of guard. BEAUTIFUL ARTWORK. (PLEASE VIEW PICTURES). I did not remove the patina from the blade . I will leave that up to the Future owner . This blade is SOLID and well weighted. Can definately be used as a machete. Straight all the way across the top with leather wrapped grip and wonderfully designed guard. IT WILL CLEAN UP VERY NICELY. THE PICTURES DO NOT DO THIS ITEM JUSTICE. THE ETCHING IS QUITE ORNATE AND BEAUTIFUL. Inscribed (ETCHED) on one side of the blade says " HAY MULAS DEL MULADAR SALGAN ORA "QUE" TRIAGO GANAS DE QUE UN CHIVO ME DE UN TOPE Y UNA CABRA DE MAMAR"..On the other side of the blade is scenic etchings of kangaroos surrounded by mountains, trees, and clouds. Blade is in good condition and can easily be sharpened to a razors edge. No nicks and the leather wrapped Eagle head handle is tight. Quite usable! This would make a great rare centerpiece to anyone's collection.
North America, Mexico, ca. 20th century CE. A handsome steel scimitar or machete, featuring a slightly curved blade with a wide tip that is thin in cross-section and sharpened on both edges. The cast steel handle and guard feature the head of an eagle on the pommel and a wrapped leather middle for ease of grip. The maker's mark is partially obscured by patina and wear, but is visible. This blade is from the Noriega company. Size: 4.5" W x 27.5" H (11.4 cm x 69.8 cm); 31" H (78.7 cm).  I am liquidating a large Estate from a retired antiques dealer.
