RCMP Police Badge Mounted In Trinket Dish.  Bottom of the dish is marked "Gaunt.Montreal" & "Made in England".  Gaunt is the manufacturer of the RCMP badges.  The trinket dish is silver-plated.  The badge is topped with the King's Crown, this style of badge was used from approx. 1920 to 1954 (
this style of badge has not been used in nearly 70 years
).  Not sure the type of badge, it's small - perhaps a Collar Dog?  Badge measures approx. 1-1/4" x 1-1/4".  Dish measures approx. 4" x 3" x 1-1/4" tall.  This item is used and is in good condition.  The dish has several bends and dings (mainly along rim edge), as well as some tarnish and typical surface wear.  On the left side along the rim is a light crease, which appears as though perhaps it was bent at one point and bend back.  The dish could use a good polish and buff.  The badge has polish wear on the silver plated portions.  The cobalt blue enamel is in excellent condition without chips or breaks.
