    Description

This is a really cool pair of scimitar style swords with curved blades and leather belt sheaths. Pirate or Ali Baba style, these swords are of the type you might have seen used during the Golden Age of Piracy, or historically in the Middle East, South Asia, or North Africa. These have short blades of the sort traditionally used in close quarters and measure approximately 18" overall.
These are in great shape as pictured. I’ve used them only for display, never for boarding a royal frigate of the crown or something like that. However, keep in mind that these are real steel, and have real, heavy duty blades. They’re not especially sharp right now, as I’ve never sharpened them, but you could easily sharpen these swords to a razor edge if you’d like. Buy at your own risk and only bidders over the age of 18 please.
Finally, a few disclaimers: I do not take returns for any reason. Let me repeat that: I do not take returns for any reason. So please view the pictures carefully and ask any questions you might have BEFORE bidding. If you are not comfortable with the risk that you might not like these or might change your mind, please don’t bid. If there was something apparently wrong with these I would note it, and the only thing of note is that one of the swords doesn’t easily go down fully into its sheath and has about an inch sticking out when sheathed, and that is because a little plastic blade protector came with these that I put into the sheath and it must be blocking the blade somewhat (could probably be removed or repositioned, but I’ll leave that to you if you so desire, see photo 9).
Very cool swords here that I think someone is really going to enjoy. I had them hung up in a crossed sword display, which you may want to replicate. Of course, you can do whatever you want with these, and might have other ideas. Best of luck!
