Sword from Stardust Limited Edition, Battle-Ready. Originally was license for a production run of 1,000 pieces but only 250 swords were ever manufactured.
This is a beautiful limited edition, licensed replica of Tristan's sword from the movie Stardust. Part cleaver, part falcata, part Turkish Yatagan, and part Seax (oh, it's seaxy all right). This sword defies firm categorization. What we do know is that it is a perfect blend of Victorian elegance and fantasy whomping power. And very few were ever made.
Strongblade produced this sword with the help of Paul Chen and the Hanwei Forge under a special licensing agreement. That's right. For those of you who aren't familiar with Paul Chen he Worldwide recognized sword maker.
The sword was basically crafted from the inside out, with special attention to the metal used, the tempering and the tang. It is made from a rugged, beautifully tempered high-carbon steel and features a full tang. And when we say full tang, we mean the textbook definition of full tang (a sword is in which the tang actually forms the grip, with wood or other material bolted directly to the tang for comfort). Tristan's sword comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity (only 250 of these swords ever made, Worldwide) and comes with some very nice accessories.
Nice Accessories
A number of optional accessories come with this sword.
A Leather scabbard, Leather Belt (~31-36 waist), and Leather Sword Frog - All Custom made for this unique sword,
as well as a small polishing kit (some metal polish for the blade and a microfiber cloth).
