The idea behind this device is that everyone can make the respiration and heart sound record and send it to doctor. No special software is needed!
Respiration sensor is easy to use: just put it to mouth tightly and make a few deep breaths. Heart sensor should be used in the same way as medical stethoscope.
To make a record: connect the device to the phone the same way as headphones and open the sound recorder (all smartphones have such), start recording before using sensor and stop it after use.
If both sensors are to be used, then make two separate records with each sensor. Transmit the record to the doctor (Email, social nets, whatever...).
Doctor can use the record in a different ways: as sound (use good headphones), as signals to be analised by PC software (any sound processing software can be used), or to visualize it on smartphone. In case of smartphone, there are many useful apps which can't take a signals from the record but from the mic only (FFT Sound Analyser, Sound Oscilloscope, ets...), to let these apps get the record - use the sound router (small black device with lamp). Sound router should be connected to the phone in the same way as headphones, during playing the record it let the apps to get the record from the mic (it routs the record from the headphones to the mic). Sound volume should be adjusted while playing through the router to let the apps analyse or visualize the record properly.
To change the sensors: detach one from the sound hose accurately and attach another using as less force as possible.
The black cylinder with audio jack, connected to the sound hose - is the microphone, it can be detached from the hose and used as external mic for the phone. You can attach the regular medical stethoscope to it and make a records.
This device allows you to get doctor’s help remotely:
1. Plug the device to your phone (like a headphones)
2. Put the tube into your mouth (attach the cone to the heart)
3. Open Voice Recorder and start recording
4. Make 3 full breath in and out through the tube (record the heartbeat)
5. Stop recording (save the record if necessary)
6. Send the record to the doctor
