sword military old vintage antique old interesting original 1 of a kind

Description

I do not know the history of this sword but it has been in my family for  100 years.
Not sure what it is from but it is old.  No markings that I can find.   A worm got into the wood handle about 50 years ago so it has damage.
Unfortunately some type of worm got into the handle during its long term storage.
Its sold as is.  Don't buy it if you have any intention of returning it.   The handle is fragile.
It looks pretty old and might make a good wall hanger
