toledo sword

Description

This Toledo sword is in very good condition, the sword blade is straight with no nicks or cuts along both sides of the blade, there are some very small tarnish marks on the blade, but overall this sword is in very good condition. The hand guard looks like gold with small places that are a darker color in the a few places, I did a few tests on the hand guard to see if it's actually gold, I tried a magnet and it doesn't stick to the guard, I took a lighter to it for a minute, and the guard  gold got brighter, with no marks or tarnish from the lighter, so if it's solid gold, I'm not 100%, maybe brass and gold plated, not sure.  Overall this sword is awesome, and I took 2 pics of the but end that screws to the bottom of the handle, their are words and number inscribed, I couldn't make out what they read, I took 2 close up pics of both sides, maybe you can tell what they mean.
