U.S. Cavalry Style Sword Saber + Scabbard E. Horster Solingen German

Description

Vintage US Cavalry Style Sword with scabbard.  Sword measures 38-1/4" overall with a blade length of 32-1/4".  Near excellent condition showing some age patina, wear, use, scratches.  Etched Floral sprays with U.S. markings one side of blade and obverse marked with Eagle Union Logo with Ribbon marked "E. Pluribus Unum", all Iron style finish, rayskin grip with gilted twisted wire wrap, looking excellent.  Ricasso of blade marked, "E. HOLSTER/SOLINGEN".  Opposite side marked, "PROVED" in brass circle of ricasso. Guard and handle are tight.  Comes with very nice iron, 2 ring scabbard.  Great fit to sword.  See photos for further details, clarification, and condition.
