    Description

DUE TO MANY NON-PAYING BIDDERS, I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO REPORT EACH AND EVERY NON-PAYING BIDDER TO EBAY
    .
In order to determine the shipping cost of an item, I enter the dimensions and weight of the package into EBay's shipping Wizard and that is supposed to automatically give the correct shipping cost based on your zip code.  If you are going to purchase more than one item,
please do not pay until you have completed your purchases
.  Then, please request an invoice with the combined shipping cost on it.  I will always combine shipping
    when it is possible
    .
I belong to the EBay Global Shipping Program.  That is the only way I can ship out of the USA.
Here for your consideration is a Vintage VELVET doll by Ideal.  She is a younger cousin of Crissy.  I measure her at 15 inches tall..  She has Sleep eyes that work very well, and rooted "growing" blonde hair.  She is wearing her original outfit, including shoes and comes to you in her original box with direction sheet inside the box, as well.
Please view and enlarge the pictures as they are a large part of my description.
I try to give a good description, but I could miss something that is important to you.  So, please ask any questions you have before bidding.
I just had a question from another EBayer, asking about the difference in her eyes.  I tried to post it on this auction, but it did not post.  So, I copied and pasted my response so all could see my reply.
Good Morning, and thank you for your interest.  I can't believe I didn't notice it, but...her eyes ARE 2 different colors.  I thought of the sun possibly damaging it?....Then I remembered the previous owner saying she was well protected from light.  I believe her, because the dress is not faded in any way and neither is her "skin".  I took her outside in the natural light and in the sun for about 5 seconds so I could best describe what I see.  Her right eye looks like a pretty blue to me.  Her left eye, inside the house, in front of a window, looked brown.  Outside in natural light, the top, approximately 2/3 of her eye, is dark and the bottom of her right eye looks purple!  Since the sun is not the culprit, I ask myself, is it aging?  Or, did it come from the factory that way?  To be honest, I have no idea.  It is interesting to say the least.  All I know to tell you, other that what I just said, is She is a beautiful doll that looks to be near mint, in my humble opinion.  That, also in my opinion, is really neat!  LOL  She is a conversation piece for certain.  Again, thank you for your question and I hope I have helped.  It is still a mystery to me.   cigarman45  BTY:  You have a good eye!!
I am a retiree, in my high 70s, that enjoys selling on EBay for something to do. I have a smoke free, pet free home.  I do combine shipping whenever possible. EBay requests that you use the "add to cart" button if you are going to purchase more than one item.  That will help with your combined shipping.  I am not a business, so I cannot sell on approval.  I use EBay calculator for shipping and it is supposed to give the shipping amount based on your zip code.  That should give the minimum shipping cost.  I do not charge a shipping fee, or for shipping supplies, nor for transportation to and from the post office.  If you have questions, please ask them before you bid.  If you have special payment needs, please talk to me before you bid.  I will leave feedback when I know you have received your item and are happy with your purchase.
If you have any problems, please contact me and let me know.
I cannot correct a problem that I do not know exists.
I am honest and try to describe items as best I can, however, I could miss something that is important to you.  So, if you have questions, please feel free to ask.  I will do my best to answer your questions.
Thank you for taking the time to consider my auctions.  I appreciate that.
