Puukko knives were one of the most common trench-war items to be made by soldiers. These knives earned a legendary reputation as good close combat weapon and versatile utility knife during the Finnish / Soviet Union Winter War and WWII and were widely used by Finnish and German soldiers.
This fighting Finnish knife overall length with the sheath is 11”. Beautiful, diamond cross-section fullered, clip point blade is 5-3/4”. The blade is in great condition without any rust of chips. The blade is still razor sharp without any evidence of sharpening. Smooth and very comfortable traditional birch hand grip with brass guard. Beautiful thick leather sheath with bonded SONNY is work of art. The best I ever saw...  The knife fits nice and tight into the sheath. Overall this a beautiful very tight and sound, fierce looking fighting knife. One of the kind.
