    You are bidding on an antique silver mounted RARE High Rank Katipunan dagger from the Philippines, Spanish American War era likely late 19th century. It is an amazing example with heavy blade. The knife is 18.25 inches from which the blade is 13 inches. The handle is carved from Buffalo horn with the words RECUERDO/REMEMBER on one side likely referring of the 19th Century tradition of "Remembering the Dead". Fittings and guard are silver. Some engraving on the ricasso on both sides. There is no sheath. There is a nick on the blade. Very nice RARE historical knife. See all the pictures bellow.
