Condition:
The sword is in good condition. This is a NCO sword. Pommel, grip and guard are in good shape with signs of light dings. They are all tightly bound with no loose wiggling, but it has started to oxidize a little bit. Some of the finish has come off and there is a little big of rust.
Ricasso has no markings on either side. It has an etched blade and spine.
The blade is in good shape with no pitting, dings or chips. there are scratches along the entire length. Blade edge has no nicks.
Scabbard is in fair condition and shows signs of average use and wear. There is rust and some minor scratches, plus it has started to oxidize a bit. Everything is held together tightly. Rings rotate freely. There are no markings that we can see. Finish has started to come off on several places. As with all used items, a light cleaning may be necessary to meet your standards. Please see our photographs for a better understanding of the contents and its condition.
